Gymkhana?!?! WTF is Gymkhana? Is that some type of foreign dance movement? Is that a new form of origami? Is that a king of Pakistan? The questions never end when people first heard of Gymkhana, but a quick search on google will inform you of everything that it truly is. The name you will find attached to Gymkhana is none other then Ken Block. He has shocked and awed the world with his impressive driving skills and breath taking internet videos of himself racing around complex courses with amazing precision. The success of his videos has pushed forward events revolving around this new motorsport of Gymkhana. The event held at Irwindale was truly an event that shouldn’t have been missed and if you did, then shame on you. Lucky for you itsjdmyo was there to get you the coverage you deserve. So sit back and let your computer load up all the optical goodness.
Here are some pictures of our itsjdmyo x Canibeat x Autocon booth we had set up at the show. Thanks to all who came by to say what’s up and show some support. We truly appreciate it.
Bert’s clean STI was at our booth. He took home a very well deserved award that night. Congrats again Bert! Thanks for the support!
Jon Jon’s IS looking very VIP indeed. Thanks again for bringing your car out even though you had work that day.
Justin’s Wide body SI. Justin is the man behind Autocon, which recently just happened on 12-11-10. Coverage of that event will be posted soon. So keep an eye out.
Beautiful model Kay Bae was at our booth. Thanks again Kay!
The always-gorgeous model Chaba was at our booth. She is always down to support itsjdmyo. Thanks again Chaba!
Big Abe was there showing support for itsjdmyo. He brought out the VIP Modular 24k rim. Big Abe had a white t-shirt that he was getting his good friends to sign, but that shirt was taken from him during the event and has yet to be found. If you have it, Big Abe wants it back. Thanks again for all the support Big Abe!
The Motormavens crew were the ones responsible for putting on the car show portion of the event. The car show portion was called “Mass Appeal”. The show stayed true to its name and had cars from all different makes, models, scenes, and styles. Thanks again Motormavens! Can’t wait to see what else you guys have up your sleeve.
