If you’re local to the southern california area, you know when there’s a Guppy Grand Opening, Dayuum is always out there in full force promoting it. This was Guppy’s 8th location to open up and it was actually a pretty huge success as well. There was lots of foot traffic for a restaurant’s grand opening and there were plenty of people in queue to get into the restaurant to eat at the Taiwanese style eatery.
There were go-go dancers like Diana Lushus, Kat Gutierrez, Lynthy Nguyen and Beckie Joon gracing the stage
As well as models in various costumes like Arley Elizabeth, Serena Su, Ashley Clark, Regina Meii, Marie Alvarez and Lily Evans. I didn’t manage to get all their photos though, so I apologize for that.
Once again, congrats to the Dayuum Crew on their 2nd Year and Guppy’s for their 8th location!
As the Formula D seasons comes to another close and a new champion is crowned, the venue returns to Irwindale Speedway. This time, we didn’t have a booth so I just headed to the venue just as it was opening to the public. For future reference, show up early because parking was ridiculous at that time and I almost couldn’t find a spot. On to the show side, I didn’t have track access again so I couldn’t get any of the awesome drifting action so there’s only model coverage from the Vendor spaces that occupy the car show side.
Erica Nagashima, Sadie May, Jessica Harbour for Hankook Tires
I had heard about the R1 Concepts event from a couple fellow photographers in the scene and I was kinda hesitant on attending the event, mostly because it was last minute on my schedule and I had other events that day, but I’m kinda glad i did go. Got to hang out with Big Abe for a bit of adventuring, good company.
Abe was rocking his latest bling, the R1 Concepts brake rotor + caliper
Once again, that thing is legit. The weight is just massive.
Even Amber was having a bit of difficulty lifting it, probably because it was still chained to Abe…
Eventually, I saw the “Big Abe” special at Klouds Vapor that happened to have a booth there that day. Definitely something to check out.
As per the usual, I try to include some model coverage at these events so check out the hotties in no particular order.
Another year has come for the newer show crew Auto Gallery and this year seemed a bit more laid back but still enjoyable show. There were plenty of raffles and contests going on throughout the day to keep you occupied around the main stage as well as just checking out the rides or grabbing food off the food trucks on the scene. A new thing this year I think was that twerk competition. Didn’t think it was really gonna happen but it did.
As usual there was a Miss Auto Gallery Pageant, although I didn’t get enough coverage of it, I think I shot most of the models on the scene that day.
SpoCom is still one of the major popular shows to attend in so cal and this year was a great example of that. Plenty of models to go around, lots of cars with some fun and interesting builds, and did I mention there were lots of models? The event also caters to the Dancers as they have contests every year which you get the local dance crews to perform on stage and see what they’re capable of. I used to be more into that kind of stuff when America’s Best Dance Crew was still around but as of late, I haven’t had much interest in it, but it’s nice to see that there’s still nice competition going around.
I know SpoCom 2013 was this past weekend and I’m catching up on photos, but first I just wanted to post some coverage from Extreme Dimensions meet which was a couple weeks ago. SpoCom’s coverage will be coming up sometime this week when it gets finished, so be sure to check back for more hotties and coverage.
Also managed to do a quick mini-shoot for Ms Amanda Kerr who was there for PasMag that day
