Another year has come for the newer show crew Auto Gallery and this year seemed a bit more laid back but still enjoyable show. There were plenty of raffles and contests going on throughout the day to keep you occupied around the main stage as well as just checking out the rides or grabbing food off the food trucks on the scene. A new thing this year I think was that twerk competition. Didn’t think it was really gonna happen but it did.
As usual there was a Miss Auto Gallery Pageant, although I didn’t get enough coverage of it, I think I shot most of the models on the scene that day.
SpoCom is still one of the major popular shows to attend in so cal and this year was a great example of that. Plenty of models to go around, lots of cars with some fun and interesting builds, and did I mention there were lots of models? The event also caters to the Dancers as they have contests every year which you get the local dance crews to perform on stage and see what they’re capable of. I used to be more into that kind of stuff when America’s Best Dance Crew was still around but as of late, I haven’t had much interest in it, but it’s nice to see that there’s still nice competition going around.
With the 2013 Show season in full swing, this was the first event where almost the entire Its JDM Yo!!! Crew was out and about getting coverage and showing their cars. The event was a good starting point to set the rest of the year in motion with the new builds, new models, new crews coming out in attendance.
Some Adventures with Big Abe
Big Abe Hanging out with It’s JDM Yo!!!’s mascot YoZilla
Abe gets all the Hotties like Trinity Dang
Also he likes to mess around with models by giving them dirty looks for fun. Ashley Malia got a taste of this.
Adding my installment of the Kuya Model Expo. Plenty of ladies were in the house to keep photographers occupied and I just wanted to extend a bit of congratulations to Kuya Big Abe for making it all happen. Look out for the Adventures with Big Abe in 2013!
Happy Holidays from Its JDM Yo!!! and the Vanguard Collective. As the year draws to a close, we were invited to a couple events and I decided to just throw some coverage of those up right now. We also want to extend a congratulations to our buddies over at DAYUUM!! http://www.dayuum.com on their anniversary event at Guppy’s Temple City. Along with that event, there was also an Extreme Dimensions holiday toy drive which I will have coverage up at a later time and the Street Chaos event in Carson where Big Abe was hosting the event.
The CAME show last year brought a lot of fresh faces to the import modeling scene and this year is no different. Props to Tony Damo Jr and his crew for putting together another fun event and giving me the opportunity to be part of the media.
Wouldn’t be a CAME show event without Kuya Protection there
