As the Formula D seasons comes to another close and a new champion is crowned, the venue returns to Irwindale Speedway. This time, we didn’t have a booth so I just headed to the venue just as it was opening to the public. For future reference, show up early because parking was ridiculous at that time and I almost couldn’t find a spot. On to the show side, I didn’t have track access again so I couldn’t get any of the awesome drifting action so there’s only model coverage from the Vendor spaces that occupy the car show side.

This was my second time attending the BMW Accessoryfest event and this year was a bit more exciting than I remembered compared to last year’s. Mostly because they went all out with a full-on fashion show to showcase their apparel and I thought it was fairly well organized. Also, there were plenty of music and things going on throughout the day to keep you occupied, whether it was grabbing some food, getting some beverages from the octoberfest theme-dressed ladies, relaxing in the customer lounge or just checking out the cars that were in the lot.
Of course, being a BMW event, MFest was there with a strong presence and industry regular models like Sandra Wong, Arley Elizabeth and Jessica Weaver were in attendance.
There were also some interesting cars that caught my attention while walking through the lot. Primarily the Steve Urkel car from Family Matters. I remembered his was painted red but I’ve never seen this car up close before.
