So this past Tuesday, It’s JDM Yo!!! was invited to judge a local event happening at Hooters of Long Beach. They had a Moulin Rouge themed bikini contest/fashion show going on and our very own Tony “Its JDM Yo!!!” Lee took part in judging the lovely girls. All in all, it was an interesting experience because the girls all took a lap around the restaurant before climbing on the stage before the panel of judges. I wasn’t able to get all the info on the judges but maybe Tony can fill it in later or on the instagram.

There was an intermission between the outfit changes, which is reasonable because it gave us time for some fun and games. They initially were looking for volunteers from the customers to participate in a little contest. Learning my lesson from the DSPORT event, I quickly volunteered someone else for the job and it fell on our It’s JDM Yo!!! mascot Philip “YoZilla”. Turns out the contest was a beer guzzling contest and we substituted Bay for the contest.

The big dude in the DKNY t-shirt next to Bay rocking our “Fake Parts Fake Boobs” shirt won the contest.

And then the girls came back out sporting their lovely swimwear.

The Top 6 were narrowed down and then a winner was chosen.

A good turnout for the 4 year meet held at Eibach HQ in the City of Corona California. As to be expected in Southern California, it was a hot 90 degrees throughout the afternoon. Despite the heat, the Honda enthusiasts came with great assortment of the favored EG, along with the Integra Type R and the Honda S2000 to name a few. And, although the meet primarily consisted of Honda’s and Acura’s, there were a few other vehicle types represented. The crowd was in good spirits and Show Models Holly Lee and Emma Rose were there to meet and greet fans, take photos, and help with award presentations. When it came to the Its JDM Yo Crew, our members were there providing water to attendees, not to mention, an almost full representation of our crew cars. All in all, a nice relaxing afternoon with good company…who can ask for more.
